About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative – Checker to join a busy catering and warehouse team. In this role, you will inspect prepared meal orders, verify quantities, and ensure every order meets company standards before dispatch.

Key Responsibilities
- Check prepared meals and products for quality and accuracy.
- Ensure all orders match customer specifications.
- Verify special meal requests and last-minute order changes.
- Carry out required security and safety checks.
- Report any issues or delays to supervisors.
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards.
- Work closely with warehouse and dispatch teams.
- Complete tasks within strict deadlines.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- GCSE-level education or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse, production, manufacturing, or food industry experience is preferred.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene practices.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good English communication and numeracy skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable standing for long periods and working in a chilled environment.
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
