Domestic Cleaner Vacancy
A fantastic opportunity is available for a Domestic Cleaner to join the team at GGCT West Burton Power Station. This permanent position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and hygienic environments while delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
As a Domestic Cleaner, your duties will include:
- Cleaning offices, kitchens, welfare facilities, cabins, toilets, shower rooms, and other designated areas.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the site.
- Completing all required cleaning records and documentation.
- Responding to client requests professionally and efficiently.
- Ensuring all work areas are left clean, safe, and secure at the end of each shift.
- Using appropriate safety signage, including wet floor signs, when required.
- Keeping cleaning equipment and storage areas clean, organised, and compliant with COSHH regulations.
- Following all site health and safety procedures and safe working practices.
- Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) whenever necessary.
- Reporting accidents, hazards, or near misses to the site contact and line manager.
- Completing site induction, mandatory e-learning, and drug and alcohol testing.
- Attending training sessions and meetings as required.
- Performing additional cleaning duties assigned by the manager or client.
Candidate Requirements
The successful applicant should have:
- A positive attitude towards workplace health and safety.
- A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- A flexible and reliable approach to work.
- Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential).
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations (desirable).
- Experience using professional cleaning equipment and chemicals is an advantage, although full training will be provided.
