The company has three branches, including two in Glasgow and one in Gateshead in the North East of England, and is preparing to open a new branch in the Greater Manchester area.
Job Responsibilities
The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for a range of warehouse and customer-related duties, including:
- Merchandising products.
- Replenishing stock according to the correct procedures.
- Taking responsibility for the assigned work zone.
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards within the work area.
- Supporting other departments when required.
- Answering customer queries.
Skills and Requirements
The successful candidate should demonstrate an excellent work ethic and be punctual and reliable.
You should be able to use your initiative and have the capability to work both independently and as part of a team. Good time-management skills are required because the role involves working at speed.
Strong attention to detail and careful precision are important for meeting targets. Candidates should also be able to work quickly and meet deadlines.
Confidence using handheld computerised tills and barcode scanners is required, along with excellent customer service skills.
