Polaris Education is looking for a Part-Time School Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment at Sutherland School in Tamworth.

The school provides a supportive educational setting for pupils aged 5 to 18 and is part of the Polaris Community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vacuum and mop floors.
  • Empty and clean bins.
  • Clean toilets and bathroom areas.
  • Replenish bathroom supplies.
  • Dust, polish and straighten furniture and cupboard tops.
  • Keep communal areas tidy and remove hazards.
  • Wipe down paintwork, including skirting boards and window ledges.

Who Should Apply?

  • Previous professional cleaning experience in a large commercial building, preferably a school, college or university.
  • The ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
  • A flexible approach and willingness to undertake reasonable cleaning duties.
