Key Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Operative, your daily duties may include:
- Receiving and unloading deliveries.
- Picking, packing, and sorting customer orders.
- Stowing products safely within the warehouse.
- Supporting yard operations while following safety procedures.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient working environment.
- Operating equipment after completing the required training, where applicable.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Be able to follow health, safety, and quality procedures.
- Be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
- Be able to lift items weighing up to 23kg when required.
- Be willing to bend, twist, kneel, and carry out physical tasks.
- Be comfortable handling a variety of products, including alcohol, pork, and other animal-based items.
No previous warehouse experience is necessary, as comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
