An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly organised Office Manager to join a busy secondary school in Northwich. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the school’s administrative functions.
The successful candidate will lead the office administration team, oversee reception services, and support staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of organisation and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the school office and reception area
- Supervise and support administrative team members
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and visitor enquiries professionally
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed for all visitors
- Maintain accurate student records and administrative databases
- Monitor attendance records and pupil information systems
- Coordinate school admissions and student enrolment processes
- Support data management, GDPR compliance, and confidential record keeping
- Organise office supplies and monitor equipment requirements
- Liaise with external agencies and local authorities when required
- Assist with first aid administration and staff training coordination
- Provide administrative support for school events and transition programmes
Requirements
- Previous experience in office management or administration leadership
