The successful Housekeeper will help maintain a clean and tidy environment across a variety of areas, including meeting rooms, restrooms, food outlets and shared spaces. The role requires consistency, attention to standards and a willingness to stay active throughout the working day.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Your work will involve keeping the client site clean and presentable while following the required procedures. You will be responsible for cleaning equipment, consumables and materials and reporting any repairs or issues to the management team.
The role also includes using cleaning chemicals and solutions correctly in accordance with company and manufacturer operating procedures. You will need to remain aware of the site’s fire, health and safety, and security procedures while carrying out your duties.
Depending on business requirements, you may also undertake deep cleans, specialist cleans and periodic cleaning tasks. Waste must be placed into the appropriate receptacles, and additional duties or ad hoc projects may be assigned by your Line Manager.
The Person ISS Is Looking For
Previous relevant housekeeping experience is required. You should be able to work independently using your own initiative while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
A motivated, committed and flexible approach is important. You should also be comfortable communicating with customers, employees and teams at different levels and be able to interact with site users in a polite and efficient manner.
