About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Domestic Cleaner to join a friendly care home team in Wigan. This part-time position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
Full training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for both experienced cleaners and those looking to start a career in the care sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, corridors, and other designated areas to a high standard.
- Maintain a hygienic and safe environment throughout the care home.
- Assist with laundry duties when required.
- Follow health, safety, and infection control procedures.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure daily cleaning tasks are completed efficiently.
- Help create a comfortable and pleasant environment for residents and visitors.
- Attend mandatory training sessions and follow company policies.
Working Hours
- Wednesday: 5 hours
- Saturday: 4 hours
- Sunday: 4 hours
Weekend availability is required.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning or care home experience is preferred but not essential.
- Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.
- Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
