About the Role
Complete Care Amegreen is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join its Complex Care team in Handsworth Wood, Birmingham. In this rewarding role, you will provide one-to-one care for a young girl with Rett Syndrome in her family home, helping her live a safe, comfortable, and fulfilling life.
The role offers excellent training opportunities, allowing you to develop specialist clinical skills while working within a supportive and professional care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care.
- Support with daily living activities and personal care.
- Deliver safe clinical care following individual care plans.
- Assist with medication administration.
- Perform PEG feeding and suctioning.
- Support moving and handling requirements.
- Work closely with family members and the wider clinical team.
- Maintain accurate care records and follow safeguarding procedures.
Essential Requirements
Applicants should have experience in:
- PEG feeding.
- Suctioning.
- Medication administration.
- Moving and handling.
- Bowel and bladder washouts.
- Working confidently in a home with pets.
- Delivering compassionate and respectful care.
Training & Development
Successful candidates will receive paid training and ongoing clinical support, including:
- Tracheostomy care.
- Ventilation support.
- Seizure management.
- Stoma care.
- Additional specialist complex care training.
