About the Role
We are looking for a professional and alert Security Guard to join a growing security team in Liverpool. This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment while providing excellent customer service.
You will be responsible for monitoring premises, carrying out security patrols, responding to incidents, and ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, and property. Travel to different sites may be required depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV and surveillance systems to identify security risks.
- Carry out regular patrols of assigned sites.
- Control access to restricted areas and verify authorised entry.
- Respond quickly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.
- Prevent theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.
- Complete daily security reports and incident logs.
- Work closely with emergency services and law enforcement when required.
- Provide professional assistance to visitors, clients, and staff.
- Perform mobile patrols and support additional security duties when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a security role is preferred.
- Valid SIA Licence is preferred.
- PTS (Personal Track Safety) Card is an advantage.
- Full UK Driving Licence is preferred.
- Excellent observation and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.
- Physically fit and able to stand or patrol for extended periods.
- Willingness to travel to different work locations when required.
