About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team supplying quality architectural ironmongery products to the construction industry. This role combines traditional warehouse duties with hands-on product preparation and finishing, making it ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and wants to develop new technical skills. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare products for powder coating by safely disassembling components.
- Coordinate with external coating suppliers and delivery partners.
- Inspect coated products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Reassemble, package, and label finished products for dispatch.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately.
- Receive, check, and store incoming deliveries.
- Keep warehouse stock organised and easy to access.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
- Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.
- Update colleagues on the progress of customer orders when required.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous warehouse or manual handling experience is an advantage.
- Practical mindset with an interest in using hand or light power tools.
- Ability to assemble and disassemble products with care.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out warehouse duties.
- Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn.
