About the Opportunity
Marathon Warehouse Distribution is looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join its established distribution team at its Redditch site. The company is an independent automotive parts distribution business supplying motor factors and automotive businesses across the UK.
The Redditch location operates as an important distribution hub within the company’s wider network. This position would suit someone who enjoys practical warehouse work, can maintain accuracy in a busy environment and works well with colleagues to keep orders moving efficiently.
Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of the warehouse and distribution team, you will contribute to the movement of automotive parts from incoming stock through to preparation for onward distribution. Your responsibilities will include picking and packing customer and depot orders accurately and making sure incoming stock is received and checked correctly.
You will also put stock away, replenish warehouse locations and carry out stock checks when required. Loading and unloading delivery vehicles will form part of the role, along with preparing products for onward distribution.
The position also involves using handheld scanners and warehouse systems as part of the daily operation. You will be expected to keep warehouse and working areas clean, organised and safe while following company Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
The products handled can include heavier automotive items such as brake discs and exhaust components, so applicants should be physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties.

Pay, Benefits and Working Pattern
The role offers a salary from £28,571.40 per year, together with a Quarterly Attendance Bonus subject to the terms of the company’s attendance bonus scheme.
Employees will work 43 hours per week from Monday to Friday in a permanent full-time position. The package also includes 20 days’ annual holiday plus statutory/bank holidays, a company pension scheme, free on-site parking, full training and ongoing support.
