About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Warehouse Operative to join a growing production facility in Witham, Essex. The site specialises in producing large-format graphics, display products, and branded marketing materials. This role is ideal for someone with warehouse and stock management experience who enjoys working in a busy production environment.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will help manage warehouse operations, control stock, receive deliveries, and prepare customer orders for dispatch. Full training will be provided on the company’s dispatch systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and check incoming deliveries.
- Manage warehouse stock and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Pick, pack, and prepare products for dispatch.
- Load and unload goods safely using warehouse equipment.
- Operate a forklift truck where required.
- Follow dispatch procedures and complete shipping documentation.
- Work closely with the Production Supervisor and team to meet production deadlines.
- Maintain high standards of quality, organisation, and workplace safety.
- Identify and resolve day-to-day warehouse issues efficiently.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- Previous experience working in a busy warehouse or production environment.
- Experience with stock control, goods receiving, and goods dispatch.
- Forklift truck experience or a valid forklift licence (preferred).
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- A reliable, proactive, and flexible approach to work.
