About the Role
A well-established family-run business in Wigan is looking for a reliable Milk Delivery Driver to join its friendly team. This role involves delivering fresh milk and other household products to customers’ doorsteps during the early morning hours. It is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and is comfortable with early starts.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver milk and other products to customers across the Wigan area.
- Load and safely operate the company delivery van.
- Complete deliveries accurately and on schedule.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Carry out vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company procedures.
- Work independently while maintaining a high standard of service.
Working Hours
- Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
- Start time: 1:00 AM
- Approximately 5–6 hours per shift
Requirements
- Must be 25 years of age or older.
- Hold a valid UK driving licence for at least one year.
- Ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Wigan WN5 8DH.
- Comfortable working early morning shifts and in all weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Knowledge of the Wigan area is beneficial but not essential.
