About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for a Laundry Assistant to join a friendly and supportive team in Haywards Heath. This part-time, term-time-only position is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality laundry services while enjoying a great work-life balance during school holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash, dry, iron, fold, and prepare laundry for collection.
- Operate laundry equipment safely (full training provided).
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation.
- Ensure laundry is processed accurately and efficiently.
- Support colleagues to deliver an excellent laundry service.
- Keep the laundry area clean, tidy, and well-organised.
Requirements
- Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.
