A rewarding opportunity is available for enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Staff to join a dedicated care team in Coventry. This role is ideal for candidates with catering, hospitality, or kitchen experience who enjoy preparing nutritious meals and working in a supportive environment.
You will help prepare and serve meals for residents while ensuring high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals based on approved menus.
- Cater for individual dietary, cultural, and medical requirements.
- Prepare and serve breakfast and lunch for staff.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards.
- Complete kitchen records and required food safety documentation.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
- Work closely with care staff to meet residents’ nutritional needs.
- Follow all health, safety, and infection control procedures.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or kitchen roles.
- Care home kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and dietary requirements.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate (or higher) is desirable.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varied shifts.
