A rewarding opportunity is available for a Bank Housekeeper to join a professional healthcare team in Edinburgh. Working on a bank contract means you’ll provide cover during busy periods, annual leave, or staff absences.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete daily cleaning schedules and prepare rooms to the required standard.
- Clean and maintain patient bedrooms, offices, public areas, toilets, and clinical support departments.
- Ensure all areas remain clean, hygienic, and well-presented.
- Work closely with hospital staff to support the smooth running of the facility.
- Follow Health & Safety regulations and COSHH guidelines at all times.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns when required.
- Carry out additional housekeeping duties as needed.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.
- Full training will be provided.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH procedures is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
- Flexible to work various shifts, including mornings, days, evenings, and weekends.
