Roscoe Head is looking for an experienced Part-Time Bartender to join its friendly team in the centre of Liverpool. This opportunity is suited to someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys providing great customer service and is interested in developing their skills further.
The successful candidate will have previous bartending experience, including experience with cask ale. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are also important, as full training will be provided on the job.
Your Role Behind the Bar
As a bartender, you will be involved in the day-to-day running of the bar and will help provide a welcoming experience for customers. Your responsibilities will include pouring drinks, handling payments and greeting and interacting with customers.
You will also be expected to help control waste during your shifts and take responsibility for cash variances. Maintaining cleanliness is another important part of the position, including cleaning cask lines and completing detailed cleaning tasks.
The role also includes opening and closing procedures, so you will contribute to keeping the bar prepared and properly managed throughout the working day.
Experience and Skills
Previous bartending experience is required for this position, with the job details specifying four years of bartending experience. Experience with cask ale is also important for the role.
Previous cellar knowledge is preferred but is not required. Candidates who do not have cellar knowledge can receive full training as part of the on-the-job training provided.
