Job Overview
We are looking for a responsible and safety-focused School Bus Driver to join our team. In this role, you will provide safe and reliable transportation for students while maintaining a positive and professional environment. Your commitment to safety and excellent service will help ensure students travel comfortably every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive a school bus on assigned routes while following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Carry out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure students board and leave the bus safely.
- Maintain a clean and tidy bus interior and exterior.
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, school staff, and dispatchers.
- Follow all safety procedures, including emergency protocols.
- Report mechanical faults, maintenance needs, or safety concerns promptly.
- Keep accurate records and complete any required reports.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
- Previous bus driving or professional driving experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of vehicle safety checks and basic maintenance.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional while working with children.
