About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Warehouse Reach Truck Driver to join a busy warehouse team in Ellesmere Port. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a reach truck to move, store, and retrieve stock while supporting efficient warehouse operations.
This role is ideal for someone who values safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a reach truck to transport goods throughout the warehouse.
- Load, unload, move, and stack pallets in designated storage areas.
- Pick and replenish stock to meet daily warehouse requirements.
- Carry out daily safety inspections on warehouse equipment.
- Ensure products are stored securely and accurately.
- Support goods-in and goods-out operations.
- Use handheld scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) to update inventory records.
- Report damaged stock, equipment faults, or health and safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Follow all company procedures and health & safety regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Reach Truck Forklift Licence or Certificate (RTITB, ITSSAR, or equivalent).
- Previous experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse.
- Knowledge of stock control and order picking.
- Experience using warehouse management systems is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work independently and follow instructions.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Capable of lifting and moving goods safely.
- Comfortable working in warehouse environments with varying temperatures.
- Willing to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
