Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented In Store Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming retail environment. In this part-time role, you will ensure all areas of the store meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, creating a pleasant experience for both customers and staff.
Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not required, as full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise store floors, windows, shelves, display units, and other public areas.
- Maintain clean and hygienic staff and customer restrooms.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish safely.
- Refill cleaning products and report low stock when needed.
- Report maintenance issues or potential safety hazards to management.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines while carrying out cleaning duties.
- Keep cleaning equipment clean, organised, and in good working condition.
- Assist with other store-related tasks when required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial or retail cleaning is an advantage but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and safe cleaning practices is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
