About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for a Van Driver to join a busy transport team delivering temperature-controlled goods to customers. The role mainly involves multi-drop van deliveries, with occasional duties as a driver’s assistant when required. Key Responsibilities
- Complete multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload goods for customer deliveries.
- Check deliveries against delivery notes to ensure accuracy.
- Obtain customer signatures after each successful delivery.
- Keep the company vehicle clean, tidy, and in good condition.
- Report any vehicle faults or maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company transport procedures.
- Handle returned goods according to company guidelines.
- Respond professionally to customer questions and concerns.
- Communicate effectively with the transport team and other departments.
- Represent the company positively while delivering excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Valid UK Driving Licence (required).
- Previous van driving or delivery experience is preferred.
- Ability to complete multiple deliveries within scheduled times.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physically fit to load and unload goods.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
