About the Role
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join a busy charity retail store in Nuneaton. In this permanent role, you will help with the daily operations of the shop by sorting donations, pricing items, assisting customers, and creating an attractive shopping environment. Your work will help raise funds to support important hospice care services in the local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers in a friendly manner.
- Sort, price, and display donated items.
- Keep the shop clean, tidy, and well-organised.
- Operate the till and process customer purchases.
- Replenish stock and maintain attractive product displays.
- Support the team in achieving sales targets.
- Promote recycling and sustainable shopping.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage but not essential.
- Friendly, reliable, and positive attitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently when required.
