Key Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, your duties will include:
- Providing person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
- Supporting daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping.
- Assisting with personal care when required.
- Helping individuals attend appointments and enjoy community activities.
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and personal choice.
- Administering medication after completing the required training.
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality care.
- Acting as a Key Worker by contributing to care plans and individual goals.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A compassionate, patient, and positive attitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine interest in supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health conditions.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
- A UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
- Previous care experience is beneficial; however, full training is available for suitable candidates.
