Key Responsibilities

As a Support Worker, your duties will include:

  • Assisting with personal care when required.
  • Helping individuals attend appointments and enjoy community activities.
  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and personal choice.
  • Administering medication after completing the required training.
  • Working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality care.
  • Acting as a Key Worker by contributing to care plans and individual goals.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A compassionate, patient, and positive attitude.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine interest in supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health conditions.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
  • A UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
  • Previous care experience is beneficial; however, full training is available for suitable candidates.
