Key Responsibilities
The Van Driver will safely operate the company van and deliver goods to designated locations. Before starting journeys, you will carry out pre-trip inspections to check that the vehicle is in suitable working condition.
Communication will be an important part of the job. You will keep in contact with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and communicate any potential delays when they arise.
The role also involves loading and unloading goods, making sure that items are properly secured during transportation. Accurate delivery records must be maintained, including details of any discrepancies or issues encountered during deliveries.
Drivers are expected to follow applicable traffic laws as well as company policies while operating the vehicle.
When you are not carrying out deliveries, you will assist with warehouse duties as required. You will also provide a professional customer service experience during deliveries by responding to client questions or concerns appropriately.
Requirements
