Entain is looking for a Cleaner to join its retail team at Coral C2556, 142 Main Road, Biggin Hill, Westerham TN16 3BA. This part-time position is focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both customers and colleagues.
The role offers £13.00 per hour and typically involves working around three shifts each week. Weekend and bank holiday availability is required, while the exact shift pattern will be discussed during the interview.
About the Role
As a Retail Cleaner, you will report to the shop manager and play an important part in maintaining the shop’s cleaning standards. Your work will help create a pleasant customer experience while ensuring that staff and customer areas remain clean, safe, and suitable for use.
Your responsibilities will include cleaning different areas of the shop, with particular attention to customer and staff toilets. You will ensure these facilities are clean, stocked, and usable throughout your shifts.
Other duties will include:
- Vacuuming floors and areas within the shop
- Mopping floors
- Wiping and cleaning surfaces
- Emptying bins
- Maintaining high cleaning standards throughout the premises
- Supporting the shop’s overall presentation and customer experience
- Following all relevant Health and Safety regulations
Working Hours
The shop is open from 8am to 10pm, Monday to Sunday. The position is part-time and normally involves three shifts per week, including weekends and bank holidays. Your specific working pattern and shift times will be discussed as part of the interview process.
Requirements
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, as the position is based within a betting shop.
You should take pride in maintaining clean and safe spaces and be comfortable working in a busy, customer-facing environment. The role can involve dealing with challenging situations, so applicants should be comfortable handling these circumstances professionally.
Previous cleaning experience in retail, offices, hospitality, public areas, or similar environments is preferred but not essential. You should also be comfortable carrying out cleaning duties while customers and colleagues are present.
