About the Role
Aldi is looking for a reliable and hardworking Store Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping environment. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, enjoys working as part of a team, and is committed to delivering excellent standards throughout the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including aisles, entrances, and customer areas.
- Collect litter and keep the outside of the store clean and presentable.
- Clean windows, floors, and other store surfaces.
- Ensure shopping trolleys are clean, tidy, and available for customers.
- Keep walkways clear and safe for shoppers and staff.
- Follow daily cleaning schedules and health and safety procedures.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service when required.
- Support the team in maintaining Aldi’s high store standards.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Friendly and professional approach towards customers and colleagues.
- Reliable transport is recommended, as shifts may start as early as 6:00 AM or finish as late as 10:00 PM.
