Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Shift Manager to lead warehouse operations and manage a high-performing team in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient daily operations, meeting productivity targets, maintaining excellent customer service, and promoting a strong health and safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage warehouse staff during assigned shifts.
- Monitor daily warehouse operations to ensure productivity and efficiency.
- Set performance expectations and support team development.
- Ensure all operational deadlines are achieved safely and on time.
- Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety.
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching where needed.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse processes.
- Build strong working relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Previous experience managing teams in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Experience working in high-volume or time-sensitive operations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
