Job Overview

A leading warehouse and logistics company is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join its operations team in Nuneaton. This permanent role is ideal for a motivated leader who can manage warehouse activities, support staff, maintain safety standards, and ensure customer service targets are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations across inbound and outbound activities.
  • Allocate labour and resources to meet daily workloads efficiently.
  • Oversee picking, packing, replenishment, loading, and goods-in processes.
  • Ensure customer orders are dispatched accurately and on schedule.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate warehouse team members to achieve high performance.
  • Conduct daily team briefings and maintain clear communication across shifts.
  • Manage attendance, performance, and staff development.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees.
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety procedures and site regulations.
  • Monitor warehouse management system (WMS) accuracy and stock movements.
  • Support inventory checks, stock investigations, and cycle counts.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all warehouse procedures and standard operating processes are followed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory, logistics, or 3PL environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Good knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory processes.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Experience working towards warehouse KPIs and service targets.
  • GCSE, NVQ Level 2, or equivalent qualification.
  • Forklift Truck (FLT) licence and Health & Safety certification are advantageous but not essential.
